The annual Truck-N-Show typically held in August, starting with the "Lights of the Night Convoy" going up Main Street in Waupun, Wisconsin. The trucks are all decked out in fancy lighting and the city turns off the street lights so that viewers can better see the lighted truck parade. The trucks also do not have their headlights on. The colorful event can last from two to three hours depending on the number of trucks. In 2009 there were 318 trucks in the Truck-N-Show and that was with diesel fuel at over $4 per gallon. Some of the participants came from as far away as California and Florida.
